Pancake Mountain was a public television show produced by a small group of creative and dedicated filmmakers who wanted to bring the fun and excitement of the D.C. punk rock music scene to children's broadcasting.
Born of the Washington D.C. D.I.Y ethos the show captured the spirit, energy and raw power of the underground movement that is the life blood of the city's subversive arts culture.
The show had revolving door of big (and soon to be big) named talent who all have fond memories of this little show that made a big splash and in many cases helped propel their careers into the stratosphere!
Aundroma Projects is helping to bring this story to a whole new generation with a proposed feature documentary, book, New Music recordings, and a series of events/ and social media activations that are all leading up to a celebration of the Shows 25th anniversary in 2028.
